SEPTEMBER 19 – The Lakeland Magic, the NBA G League affiliate of the Orlando Magic, have a full slate of themes and giveaways planned for the team’s second season.
“We’ve developed a promotional schedule to engage fans based on a wide variety of interests all season long. There is something for everyone.” said Lakeland Magic President, Shelly Wilkes.
The excitement tips-off with the team’s official Home Opener presented by Founding partner, RP Funding on Saturday, Nov. 10 at the RP Funding Center in Lakeland, FL. The night will be focused on the teams new brand campaign As One, which will exemplify the force and impact that happens when everyone comes together collectively.
Additional partners of the Lakeland Magic will sponsor key theme nights throughout the 2018-19 season including Publix, Southeastern University, Florida Hospital, Bartow Ford, Pepsi/Mountain Dew, Bond Clinic and Lakeland Electric. RP Funding will also close out the season by sponsoring Fan Appreciation Night on March 23.
The Magic are planning multiple “theme jersey nights,” including Honoring our Hero’s Night (Nov. 16); Kid’s Takeover Night (Nov. 20); a tribute to the Orlando Magic throwback with Blast from the Past (Nov. 25); Home for the Holiday’s (Dec. 11); camouflage Hunt the Herd Night (Jan. 6); Space Jam Night (Jan 23); Oscars Night (Feb 22); and a Lakeland favorite Lakeland Swans Night (Mar. 22). Game entertainment and giveaways will fully embrace the dedicated theme.
