Magic end regular season with loss to Mad Ants

By Osceola Magic Staff /March 31, 2024

March 30, 2024 — The Osceola Magic fell to the Indiana Mad Ants 127-118 at Osceola Heritage Park Saturday night.

Kevon Harris had a game-high 28 points on 56% shooting from the field and 44% from three-point range.

“We fouled too much tonight,” Harris said. “We gave them the game at the free-throw line. We let one slip, but we're excited to be the first seed and are now looking forward to the playoffs. Our goal is to bring home a championship.”

The lead changed hands 19 times as the teams battled back and forth. Six Magic players scored in double figures, and their bench outscored the Mad Ants 46-31. Osceola committed 28 fouls and sent Indiana to the free-throw line 25 times in the loss.

“This group is extremely resilient,” Head Coach Dylan Murphy said. “Our goal for these two games was to come out healthy and play competitive basketball, which we did. We aim to win every game, but we've still positioned ourselves to be the first seed. I'm pleased with how our season has gone, but now it's go time.”

The Osceola Magic (22-12), NBA G League Affiliate of the Orlando Magic, will host the Eastern Conference Semifinals Friday, April 5, at Osceola Heritage Park in Kissimmee at 7 p.m. For ticket information, call 407-447-2140 or log onto OsceolaMagic.com.
