Orlando Magic Two-Way Player Averaged 25.0 PPG, 5.3 rebounds and 10 assists for the Lakeland Magic
December 9 – The NBA G League announced today that Orlando Magic Two-Way player Josh Magette has been named NBA G League Player of the Week for games played December 2-8. Magette is the first Player of the Week award recipient for the Lakeland Magic during the 2019-20 G League season.
In three games played for the Lakeland Magic this week, Magette averaged 25.0 points, 5.3 rebounds and 10.0 assists, averaging 36.0 minutes per game.
The Alabama-Huntsville graduate also currently ranks fifth in the G League from behind the arc averaging 50.8 percent, while also shooting 45.1 percent from the field and 81.0 percent from the free throw line this season.
Magette made two game winning shots in one week for the Lakeland Magic. The first on Tuesday, December 3 against the Capital City Go-Go and again on Friday, December 7 in front of a home crowd while taking on the Greensboro Swarm.
