The Hoops for Hunger Program was designed in partnership with Mosaic to help raise money for the KidsPACK organization. For every three-pointer that the Lakeland Magic make during home games this season, Mosaic will be donating $75 to the program. Last season, Mosaic donated $20,000 through the program and we look to expand upon that this season. KidsPACK has estimated that it takes $300 to support one child for the entire school year therefore for every four three-pointers made this season, the organization is able to feed one child. Follow along as we track the number of children impacted by the Hoops for Hunger program this season.

Mosaic’s mission is to help the world grow the food it needs by providing the crop nutrition products that farmers need. Locally, Mosaic has worked closely with kidsPACK to fulfill that mission. kidsPACK is a local non-profit that provides meals to kids in need in order to decrease the food insecurity that our students at Polk County Public Schools face.  This season, the Lakeland Magic have partnered with Mosaic to donate money throughout the season to kidsPACK to support this program.
