The Hoops for Hunger Program was designed in partnership with Mosaic to help raise money for the KidsPACK And One More Child organizations. For every three-pointer that the Lakeland Magic make this season, Mosaic will be donating $150 to the program. Last season, Mosaic donated $20,000 through the program and we look to expand upon that this season. KidsPACK has estimated that it takes $300 to support one child for the entire school year therefore for every four three-pointers made this season, the organization is able to feed one child. Follow along as we track the number of three-point shots made and dollars donated by the Hoops for Hunger program this season.

Mosaic’s mission is to help the world grow the food it needs by providing the crop nutrition products that farmers need. Locally, Mosaic has worked closely with KidsPACK and One More Child to fulfill that mission. KidsPACK and One More Child are non-profits that provide meals to kids in need in order to decrease the food insecurity that our students at Polk County Public Schools face.
